Description

Measuring only 65mm by 60mm, the MiniSTMV100 processor card is designed based on the popular STM32F103VBT6 microcontroller which incorporates a high-performance ARM Cortex-M3 32-bit RISC core operating at a 72 MHz frequency, high-speed embedded memories (Flash memory up to 128 Kbytes and SRAM up to 20 Kbytes), and an extensive range of enhanced I/Os and peripherals connected to two APB buses. The board is integrated with an external 8 Mbyte serial flash, a Reset button and RTC on board. Three boot modes selections are available through two switches: boots from embedded user flash, system memory or embedded SRAM. The processor card uses two 2*25pin 2.0mm space connectors to connect to your carrier board. A total of 80 GPIOs are extended through the two connectors. The fully expansion can be used adapted to customer requirements.

Boot Selection

The MiniSTMV100 processor card is able to boot from embedded user flash, system memory or embedded SRAM by setting the two switches: SW1 and SW2.

Switch configuration

Function explanation

SW2=0, SW1=X

Boots from embedded user flash when SW2 is set to “0” position; the position of SW1 doesn't affect the boot process.

SW2=1, SW1=1

Boots from embedded SRAM when SW1 and SW2 are both set to “1” position

SW2=1, SW1=0

Boots from system memory when SW1 is set to “0” and SW2 is set to “1” position
