Programmer
Embest Flash Programmer applies to flash chip programming in the
embedded system developing based on ARM series processors, especially good
for programming surface mounted flash chip. Embest Flash Programmer
can be released as a powerful tool for Embest IDE for ARM package, it also
can be released as an individual tool for customers used for programming
flash chip.This software must be applied together with ARM emulator made
by Embest or a JTAG cable made by yourself which we describe in our
document. When purchase this tool
individually, you should make a JTAG
cable by yourself or buy an Embest Jtag emulator (PowerICE or
UNetICE). We have offered detail document about how
to make a JTAG cable by yourself.
Features
- Supports all ARM7 and ARM9 core based processors.
- Supports almost all the manufacture's FLASH chips.
- Supports blank check, erase, programming, file verify, calculating check sum, protection, upload operation for FLASH.
- Sector area may be designated for all FLASH operations without interference with contents of other sectors.
- Supports 8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit FLASH access width. Supporting 1-chip, 2-chips and 4- chips FLASH programming; it is unnecessary to split programming files.
- Supports Windows 98\ME\XP and Windows NT\2000 operation system.
